My home ect work

Today I have to make a blog post about the work we have been doing in home economics we had to create a product that we made for someone. We had to think of a person that we made the food for, My stakeholder for our product was whaea raewyn. We also made a shopping list of all the ingredients that we used. We made a time management plan of how much time it took to do each thing. My group added up the amount of food in each pack and the price then we find the amount of each ingredients we needed. We got the pricing from the countdown website.

Caramel Cookies

½ cup butter softened

½ brown sugar

2 tb3s golden syrup

1 cup self raising flour

Method

1} Cream butter and sugar.

2}Add the golden syrup to the bowl with the creamed butter and sugar and beat until fluffy.

3}Mix in the flour to the creamed sugar until the texture is suitable to roll into balls.

4} Place on a paper-lined baking tray. allowing room for biscuits to spread.

5} Press biscuits gently with a fork and at 180C for 15 min.

The feedback from our stakeholder:

Thank you so much for the delicious Caramel cookies, I really enjoyed them.

The cookies had a crispy crunch to them which is my favorite texture in that type of biscuit.

The shape, size, and thickness was even just right.

They also had a delicious caramel flavor - it was perfect.

They were a tiny bit oily which can sometimes happen if the butter boils, this was a minor issue though.

Keep up the great work, I'm happy to be your taste tester anytime!

Self-evaluation: I think my group worked well but next time I think we could change ourselves a bit more.

ADREANLINE FOREST

Last week on Thursday we went to the adrenaline forest. When we got there we did the safety brief and learned how to connect our harness to each obstacle. There were six-levels one was the easy and six was the hardest.

After the safety briefing me and my friend Jacob went to level 3 and it was a fun and tricky level after that I did level 3/ 1

I use my car values by respecting the teachers and the staff.

Earth quakes

This term in HUR1 we have been learning about the Chch Earthquakes and how and why it happened. We also look at the re-billed of everything. We answer some questions about the and here is mine.

Q1. How have the Christchurch earthquakes affected Christchurch and the City?? The Christchurch earthquake caused extensive damage to infrastructure and buildings. Multiple buildings collapsed, and the city was impacted by burst water mains, flooding, liquefaction, and power outages. The port was damaged, and many roads cracked.

Q2. What are some of the positives and negatives that came out of the earthquakes?? The earthquakes destroyed the city so they had to re-build so that made the city better. In the earthquakes, 185 people died and 115 people died in the CTV building.

Q3.What are some of the things that citizens have changed to prevent earthquakes from ruining buildings again and the future?? They have in forced the motorway so they don't fall down. They made new schools, houses, hospitals, factories.
